HOLT STATEMENT ON THE RETIREMENT OF CONGRESSMAN SAXTON
(Washington, DC) – Rep. Rush Holt (NJ-12) today issued the following statement on the retirement of Rep. James Saxton (NJ-3).
“Congressman Saxton has been a dedicated servant and leader for his constituents in New Jersey’s Third District, and I wish him good health and success. Notably, his concern for our men and women in uniform and his efforts on behalf of the Armed Forces at Fort Dix, Fort McGuire, and Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst have been impressive and commendable. It has been a pleasure serving with him in Congress, including our joint effort – serving on the House Committee on Natural Resources – to protect the Pinelands and other pristine parts of our state. I look forward to continuing to work with him as he concludes his term and returns to private life.”
